I’ve never been good at sport, so when I piled on the pounds after leaving school the gym was the only place to turn. At university my new hobby became an obsession. Hitting the gym 8-12 times a week, I lost about three stone and became stronger than I had ever been.
Learning everything from scratch took me a long time, and it’s only in the last few years that I’ve realised how unnecessary this intensive training was, as well as the detrimental effects that poor form had on my posture and mobility. Working in an office for the last four years forced me to train smarter, and I’m now committed to helping others by applying my passion and knowledge.
